Children from age 2 upwards can now be tested at the Leisure Centre. It would be really helpful if you could get your child tested before they return on March 8^th and then once or twice a week up until Easter. With over a third of people with COVID being asymptomatic and not even knowing they’ve got it, this is a good way of making sure that it’s not being spread at school. Staff at school are currently being tested twice every week for the same reasons.

If your child or anyone else in your household has COVID-19 symptoms (persistent cough, high temperature or loss or change to sense of taste or smell) they must not come to school. You should arrange a test through the online portal or call 119. Household members must self-isolate for 10 days unless the test result is negative. If the result is negative they can stop self-isolating.

We need all the school Chromebooks to be returned as soon as possible to school so that the children can use them in their lessons. If you were loaned a Chromebook to support home learning can you please return it safely to the school office. So that there aren’t long queues can we please have devices from Year 5 & 6 returned on Monday, Year 3 & 4 on Tuesday, Year 1 & 2 on Wednesday and Reception on Thursday. If you can’t come in on the allocated day, please come in on Friday.

If your child is ill please keep them at home whether it is COVID related or not.
