Week beginning: 23rd January 2023

To celebrate Chinese New Year, the children in 6ST spent some time learning about the story of ‘The Great Race’, in which a variety of animals raced across a river to decide the Chinese Zodiac. The children loved learning the story and were given the freedom to make or draw a piece of work to represent the story. As this year is the year of the rabbit, most children focused on this animal. Each child created something different, such as origami animals, paper chains, drawings and many more. Some children even wrote messages in Chinese! Well done, 6ST!
