5ST: Armistice Day
Week beginning: 8th November 2021
For Armistice Day, 5ST learned about what life was like in the trenches for soldiers during the First World War. We discussed the significance of the poppy and why this is used as a symbol to remember those who fought and died in the war. Then, we made our own tributes to display as a sign of respect.
