Week beginning: 1st November 2021

This week in RSP we have been learning about different celebrations. We have talked about Halloween, Diwali and Bonfire Night and learned about how different members of the class have been celebrating at home. We also learned about why Diwali and bonfire night are celebrated.

We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and retold it by acting out the different roles using costumes to pretend to be the different characters. Some children decided to make masks to tell the story during our independent learning time. We used different resources inside and out to make Rangoli patterns, by both mark making and using our fine motor skills. On Friday we had lots of fun creating our own firework pictures to represent the fireworks we had seen in the sky on Diwali.
