Year 6 took part in an anti-racism and discrimination workshop, which was run by 'Sky Blues in the Community' with the help of a local police officer. Children discussed some of the key issues relating to racism and were shown examples of campaigns that aim to stop racism in football and in the wider community. The workshop encouraged the children to recognise and celebrate their differences, whilst also promoting racial, religious and other forms of equality. After the workshop, all Year 6 students were given the task of designing a poster to raise awareness of the importance of ending racism and discrimination. These were then displayed around the school.
