We currently have some capacity in our Breakfast Club, to accommodate families with children who may need some extra support, for example if you are struggling to provide breakfast for your child, or if your child has worries about attending school. Our focus, in Breakfast Club, is to provide a healthy, nutritious breakfast, whilst promoting a positive start to the school day, to enable our children to be ready to learn and to achieve their very best during the rest of the school day. Please speak to your child’s class teacher or see Mr McIlroy if you feel that this could be of benefit to your child.
We fully acknowledge the importance of all of our children starting the school day with a nutritious breakfast and so are committed to providing our children who attend Breakfast Club with a filling, satisfying and tasty meal to start their day. Breakfast club starts at 8:00 am and there is fruit juice, a wide choice of cereals, crumpets and toast. This is an extremely popular provision, with an average of thirty children attending each day.
Mr McIlroy (Learning Mentor) runs the Club and can also help your child with reading and homework, if they need support, time or equipment. We are able to offer this support to our families due to the funding, which we receive from Greggs Bakery. We thank Greggs most sincerely for their continuing support.
