Week beginning: 30th January 2023

In Year 2, we have been learning about Rosa Parks’ work for racial equality. Children have learnt about her life, the protests she inspired and the results of her bravery. To showcase their learning, children have written a diary entry from the perspective of Rosa Parks, exploring her thoughts and feelings as a victim of inequality. The children also thought about times when they stood up for something that wasn’t right, such as when they confronted a bully, and how that felt.
