On Thursday 6th June, WASPs Rugby came in to work with Year 3 to teach the children about healthy living. The afternoon was split into two 45 minute sessions. One session was based outdoors where the children participated in a range of physical activities, including rugby and running. We learnt all about how important physical activity is for our bodies and the positive impact. In the second session, the children debated which food groups were healthy and why. We also discussed unhealthy food groups and the negative effect they have on our bodies. We are excited to continue with these sessions over the next five weeks and learn more!
