2024 Autumn Term

Our Year 6 children took part in a Sports Hall Athletics Competition on 27th November. The children participated in a range of events, including: relay races, javelin, long jump, triple jump and speed bounce. The team performed fantastically and managed to win lots of the events, including the six lap relay race, which was won with an exceptional performance by Panashe and Munirah! Overall, we finished in third place! Not only were they amazing at the events, they also demonstrated brilliant sportsmanship throughout the day and were very good at cheering on their team mates. Well done Year 6.

2023 Autumn Term

On Tuesday 5th December, thirty Year 6 children competed in an indoor athletics competition at the AT7 centre. The events they participated in included: relay races, obstacle races, long jump, triple jump, javelin and many others! Overall, we finished in 4th place. Although we didn't win the competition, all of the children tried really hard in their events and demonstrated some great teamwork throughout the day. They were perfectly behaved and we were all very proud of their efforts. Well done Year 6!
