Week beginning: 3rd July 2023

On Tuesday, Years 1 to 6 participated in workshops with Sarah from the Dogs’ Trust. We were told about the 'Five Happy Rules' for staying safe around dogs; these include: leaving a dog alone if it is sleeping, playing or eating, not hugging or squeezing them and always asking permission from an adult before approaching a dog. We were also told about the importance of caring for dogs, making sure they get enough exercise, learning basic commands and being treated as part of the family because they have feelings, too.
