This week, Year 3 have been focusing on going the extra mile to be kind to one another. We have had plenty of opportunities to share in circle time, discussing what others have done to be kind to us and acknowledging those in our lives who we are thankful for. The children have gone above and beyond to make each other happy, such as helping each other in lessons, drawing pictures in their own time to give to a friend and ensuring everyone has a friend at playtime. The children also wrote a letter to a person of their choice, who they wanted to thank for all the kind things that they had done for them. This included friends, family and teachers! As a class, we have agreed that we will do more to be kind to others!
