Week beginning: 22nd January 2024

Last week in Nursery, our newest January intake of children arrived, some of which are only just three! It can be an unsettling time for all our Nursery children, seeing parents and carers arriving at different times to drop off or collect other children. All of the Nursery children have coped really well with this and we are proud of the way that they have welcomed the new starters into our setting! 

We took this opportunity to remind all our Nursery children about our Nursery rules and how we show kindness towards our friends and families. We talked about different ways we can show kindness to others such as smiling, sharing toys or helping someone when they are hurt. The Nursery children had some great ideas!

Next week at Nursery, we will be making a Kindness Tree.  We want to encourage all our children to be proud of themselves when they are being kind, either at home or school. 

When the children demonstrate being kind to each other in our setting, we will place their name upon the kindness tree for everyone to see!
