House Points:
At Moat House we use a house system as an extra incentive to maintain and improve pupils’ attitudes, behaviour and learning. The four house teams, which were chosen by the School Council (and in consultation with their classes) are: Godiva, Mowlam, Moorcroft and Herbert. The children were keen to choose houses that represent famous Coventry figures from the past as well as the present. All of our children have a house team allocated to them and they really enjoy earning points for their team. Every week the team with the most points is announced in assembly and the House Cup is presented to the House Captain. At the end of each half term, the winning team wins an extra playtime as a reward.
