On Monday, Year 6 spent an exciting day at The Belgrade Theatre. During their visit, the children enjoyed a behind the scenes tour, exploring the dressing rooms and discovering the many different elements that help to bring a show to life. They also had the opportunity to meet some of the people who work behind the scenes, learning about a variety of roles, including marketing and finance. The main challenge of the day was to work in small groups to create their very own show. The children came up with a title and storyline, thought about how they could market their production to attract an audience and created a short role play scene to act as a trailer for their show. The children had a fantastic day and threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm.
