Ella Kinzett Visit Thursday 6th November 2025

We were very fortunate to have a visit from Ella Kinzett, on Thursday, who is the captain of Sheffield United ladies football team. At 21, she is the youngest female captain in the league! Ella told us all about how she became a professional footballer, the importance of listening to her coaches and never giving up. She also told us about how exciting it was to win the FA Youth Cup when she was playing for Manchester United (she spent 10 years playing there even though she's a Manchester City fan) and how proud she was when she became captain at Sheffield United. At the end of the assembly lots of children asked her questions about her life and her career; she is a really good role model for them.
