Cool to be Kind Week:   Friday 28^th February was the last day of Cool to be Kind week, which was a great success. Children were even kinder and more helpful than usual and achieved stickers for their actions. Examples of this were Lena in Year 3 helping her friend with a recorder and Joshua in Year 6 helping Miss Collins at dinner time. Well done everyone!

 

Bikeability:      5JK were excited to begin their Bikeability sessions on Friday 28^th February. They were taught about how to stay safe when riding a bike by two of the instructors and could identify faults that would make a bike unsafe to ride, such as a worn tyre. The class are really looking forward to their session next week. 

 

Year 6 Library Quiz: Over the last few months, a group of Year 6 children have been reading three different books ready to compete in a quiz at the local library. In preparation, they read the books and tried to remember all of the characters, settings and main events. On Thursday 27^th February, they competed against three other schools in a quiz to see which team has the best knowledge of the books. Amazingly, our team won with a total of 35/40 points! They will now be competing in the final at the Central Library. Well done Year 6.
