Year 3 Geography Walk:     Year 3 took their Geography learning outdoors on Thursday 15th October with an autumn walk around our local area. During the walk, the children explored and identified both physical features, such as trees and landforms, and human features, including roads and buildings. They showed great enthusiasm and curiosity as they investigated the environment around them, strengthening their understanding of key geographical concepts through real-life experiences. We were incredibly proud of their excellent behaviour and the mature way they represented Moat House.

England Success: On Tuesday 13th October, eight of our Year 6 girls enjoyed the exciting opportunity of watching the England women’s national football team take on Greece in their qualifying match at the King Power Stadium, in Leicester. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the whole stadium experience, from celebrating England’s goals and joining in with the Mexican wave to enjoying half-time refreshments. It was a fantastic evening, made even better by England’s impressive 5–0 victory. βš½πŸ†

UKS2 Hallowe’en Disco: Our Year 5 and 6 children enjoyed the first of our Autumn disco events on Tuesday 13th October and had a fantastic time filled with spooky fun, dancing and plenty of smiles. The dance floor was buzzing throughout the afternoon, with the children enjoying the music and spending time with their friends. A huge thank you to Richard (Marley and Colton’s dad) for keeping everyone entertained with a great selection of tunes, and to all those who helped run and support the tuck shop. It was a huge success and raised valuable funds for the school. πŸŽƒπŸŽΆπŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ
