  • Football Success

    Mon 13 Jun 2022

On May 26th, our football team achieved their biggest ever victory – it was truly historical! They played local rivals, St Patricks and proved that they have got lots of skill, as well as confidence and determination. The final score was 8:0, which included Furaha achieving four of the eight goals. Man of the match was Harry for making some great saves and keeping a clean sheet. This also turned out to be excellent preparation for the football tournament in France.

  • Hordain Football Tournament

    Mon 13 Jun 2022

On June 4th and 5th, the Moat House football team played very well against European opposition in France. The children battled hard in every match and had to perform under many different weather conditions, including storms, rain and sunshine. When a vital match ended in a draw, the children had to take part in a nail biting penalty shoot out. It was a victory for Moat House and particular mentions must go to Riley for scoring the winning penalty and to Harry for making a crucial save. Credit goes to all of the children who took part. We also had some lovely feedback from the host families who all commented on how well behaved the children were and what good manners they have.
