This week, Year 6 took part in a careers event, where they were given the opportunity to explore a variety of occupations and the skills, qualifications and qualities required to be successful within them. Once they had done this, all children selected a job to apply for, called the 'job-centre' to book an appointment and then spent time preparing for their interviews. All children attended an interview with a professional from the relevant field, providing them with a real-life experience and allowing them to develop skills that would help them in the future.
