On Friday 19th September, Year 4 were visited by firefighters from Foleshill Fire Station. They talked to the children about fire safety, road safety and water safety. They helped the children to identify any potential hazards, taught them what to do in an emergency and the important stop, drop and roll technique. Afterwards, they answered lots of the children’s questions too. 

Did you know that if you do not have a smoke alarm in your home, the fire service will fit one for you, free of charge? All you need to do is call the fire station and they’ll come out to your home. They’ll also fix any broken or faulty smoke alarms too!
