Year 4 Design Technology
Year 4 have been busy designing and making their own mini appliqué cushions as part of their DT project. The children began by sketching their designs before choosing fabrics, cutting out shapes and learning simple sewing and appliqué techniques to bring their ideas to life. They carefully stitched, stuffed and finished their cushions, developing practical skills, creativity and perseverance along the way. The finished products are colourful, unique and a wonderful reflection of the children’s hard work and imagination.
