To celebrate and consolidate our exciting history topic, The Stone Age to Iron Age, Year 3 pupils take part in a thrilling Stone Age Day at the end of the unit. This immersive experience brings learning to life through hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Children have the chance to try fire-lighting techniques, create paper mâché Stone Age jewellery, design their own cave art, and much more. It’s a fun, engaging, and memorable day that not only deepens understanding of prehistoric life but also celebrates the incredible effort and progress our pupils have made throughout the topic.
