To celebrate the end of our fascinating history topic on Ancient Egypt, Year 3 pupils take part in a vibrant and creative Egyptian Day. This special event is designed to consolidate their learning through hands-on activities that bring the ancient world to life. Children craft Queen Nefertiti’s iconic collar, sculpt their own clay Sphinx, discover how papyrus was made — and even create their own — and practise writing in hieroglyphics. With many more exciting tasks throughout the day, it’s a joyful celebration of their hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm for history.
