Last Week's' News 3rd May 24

2JL’s Class Assembly:   On Friday 3rd May, we learned a lot about King Henry VIII, a very famous king who had six wives. 2JL sang a great song to remind us what happened to each of his wives: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. We don’t think King Henry was a very nice man!

Year 4 Trip:     Year 4 visited Wroxeter Roman City on Thursday 2nd May. They looked at the remains of what was the fourth largest Roman city in Britain which is gradually being uncovered by archaeologists. The children toured the site and explored the ruins with their guide who was dressed in Roman attire. They listened to stories of that time.

RSR Visit to Pizza Express:      On Wednesday 1st May, Miss Renshaw's class enjoyed a visit to Pizza Express, where they got make their own pizzas, whilst learning all about healthy eating.  The children rolled out the dough, added sauce and cheese and even learnt how to throw the pizzas in the air! Afterwards they were able to enjoy their pizzas, picnic style, in the park before having a great time in the adventure playground.
