Year 6 Leavers’ Party:  On Thursday 17th July, Year 6 enjoyed their final party at Moat House. It was an afternoon full of fun, dancing and laughter and all children had a great time. Lots of games were played and many children won prizes for their impressive dance moves - Anabela, Adam and Rohan showed especially unique dancing! At the end of the party, there were lots of tears as children reflected on their time at Moat House with some children delivering emotional speeches to say goodbye. Well done Year 6 - you will be missed.

 

Year 6 Leavers’ Show: Our Year 6 children performed Cinderella Rockerfella to a very proud audience of parents and friends on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th July. It was fantastic to see this modern day version of a traditional tale with plenty of familiar characters, such as the ugly sisters, Buttons and Cinderella – there were also plenty of laughs throughout the show. It was a delight to see all of the children thoroughly enjoying their roles and performing with smiles on their faces and we were impressed with the bravery of so many solo singing performances! Thanks Year 6.  

 

Rocksteady Show: On Tuesday 15th July, we were treated to a final Rocksteady concert, starring for the first time, our wonderful Reception children who sang 'We Will Rock You'. Moat House children never fail to make us proud and showed great confidence and star quality, as they performed to the school. A great big 'thank you' to Sophie from Rocksteady who has worked with so many of our children over the last two years and thank you to all the parents who came to support their children.
