Introduction:

Key Stage One at Moat House consists of four classes: 1ET, 1CA, 2RW and 2KD. Children in these classes take part in regular lessons in English, mathematics and phonics. We teach Read, Write, Inc. Phonics daily in small groups. In addition to these subjects, pupils enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum that includes science, history, geography, computing, art, Design Technology (D.T.), Physical Education (P.E.), Religious Education (R.E.) and life skills. This varied curriculum is designed to support children's academic progress, personal development and enjoyment of learning.
