In Nursery this week, we have been learning about our bodies, labelling body parts and facial features by drawing self portraits. We have also looked at how we are all unique and the differences we have. We discovered that even though we are all different we are also all very similar and this is what makes us who we are. Through our Life Skills lessons, we have learned how to be a great friend to others by learning what is a good friend and practicing kindness through working together. We also drew some pictures of ourselves doing something that makes us special. 

We also launched our first ready, set, school sessions working alongside the family hub to ensure our children are ready to start Reception in September. This week, we focused on making relationships, during this session the children and parents had the opportunity to make sensory bottles, playdough faces, emotions wheels and matching emotions as well as playing games to encourage turn taking. A lot of fun and engagement was had by all.
