In life skills 3ML have been learning about what our 30 human rights are and how the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was established. After learning about our rights, each child was given a human right that they shared with the class and then placed on a 'human rights tree' poster. This has since been displayed in our classroom to remind us of our rights. We built upon this by discussing the importance of responsibility as with every right there is a responsibility, for example the children talked about the right to an education but the responsibility to try hard at school.
