Year 3 Trip
On Tuesday 5th April, Y3 visited the Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham. The children had the opportunity to become scientists and perform experiments linked to states of matter. They also got to make slime using PVA glue and borax. Then, they became palaeontologists, studying fossils and dinosaur remains. After that, the children explored the science garden, which was the highlight of the day for most children! They learnt about different mechanisms used within engineering and were able to perform experiments with water too. Finally, the children explored the museum galleries. They learnt about the human body and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It was a fantastic day and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
