For cool to be kind week we decided to write down kind things that our friends do for us, we put them in a tin and shared them at the end of the day with our class.

On Tuesday we had a circle time where we thought about different scenarios and how we could be kind to people. One of the scenarios was

 ‘If you were on the playground and we saw someone on their own looking sad, what could we do that would be kind?’

 We discussed what would be kind and how we could ask them if they were ok and if they wanted to play with us. We talked as a class, in small groups and in pairs about different situations and shared our ideas as a class. 1SP were very good at suggesting kind things to do.

At the end of the circle time we talked about being kind to our friends and saying kind things. We looked at the person on our right and said something we liked about them that made them a kind person.
