Week beginning: 7th November 2022

In 3HT, we have been looking at the types of laws we have in the UK. Several children discussed the importance of God's laws so we discussed the difference between religious and secular (non-religious) law. We discovered that the Police work to keep us safe and to help us if there was a problem e.g. If someone burgled our house or tried to hurt us.

We learned that some laws are very old but still work well and that they keep us safe and make sure the world we live in is a good place to live in.  

Some of us thought that life would be more fun without laws to guide us, however then we considered what life would be like without family rules like bedtimes, clothing, chores and meal choices.
